Haribhai selected steel industry as his first venture. He set up two factories in Navsari, Gujarat in 1946 that are running profitably. Because of his deep understanding and mastery of metal business, he was elected as the President of prestigious Bombay Ferrous and Non-Ferrous Association. After success of Steel venture, Haribhai ventured into Textiles.
